Role Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of installation projects, ensuring delivery aligns with schedule, budget, scope, and quality expectations. This role works closely with the Director of Project Management for guidance, coaching, and development, while partnering cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and field teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
The Project Manager plays a critical role in executing projects while continuously developing their leadership, planning, and communication capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of assigned projects from kickoff through closeout
- Project scheduling, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Operate scissor lifts, forklift and utilize construction tools
- Coordination across engineering, procurement, and field installation teams
- Risk, issue, and change management
- Client communication and stakeholder alignment
- Project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking
- Compliance with Zone 4 safety, quality, and operational standards
- 50% Travel within in USA and Canada should be anticipated.

Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, work plans, and milestones
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Track progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, logs, and reports
Financial & Cost Management
- Track project budgets, costs, and forecasts
- Identify variances and implement corrective actions
- Support cost control efforts and protect project margins
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the central point of coordination between engineering, procurement, and field teams
- Facilitate meetings, alignment discussions, and project updates
- Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and stakeholders
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage and document issues and changes to scope, schedule, or cost
- Escalate critical risks and decisions to the Director of Project Management
Development & Continuous Improvement
- Actively engage in coaching and development sessions with the Director of Project Management
- Apply standardized templates, tools, and best practices established by the PM organization
- Continuously improve project management skills, communication, and leadership capabilities
Authority & Decision-Making
- Manages day-to-day project execution within defined scope and budget
- Makes project-level decisions related to scheduling, coordination, and execution
- Escalates major financial, contractual, or risk-related decisions
- Responsible for maintaining accurate project reporting and documentation
Required Experience
- 3–8 years of project management experience in construction, automation, industrial installation, or related fields
- Experience supporting or leading mechanical, electrical, or system installation projects
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in project scheduling and cost tracking tools
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred (or working toward)
